As The Quiet Pursuit comes to a close, we finish not with noise, but with nearness. Week 4 is a reminder that God meets us when we slow down and draw near. This week focuses on Sabbath, stillness, and the promise of peace. You don’t need to chase after God — He’s already waiting for you.

Sunday, June 22 – Draw Near - The Quiet Pursuit
Scripture: “Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.” – James 4:8 Devotion: It’s a promise. Not a maybe. You don’t need to be perfect—just present. Take a step today, even a quiet one, and know He’s already reaching back. Quiet Prompt: Take one small action to draw near to God today. Even 2 minutes counts.
Monday, June 23 – He Restores My Soul
Scripture: “He makes me lie down in green pastures… He restores my soul.” – Psalm 23:1-3 Devotion: This isn’t just a poetic image—it’s a promise. God longs to lead you into peace. Let Him restore you today. Quiet Prompt: Spend 3 minutes meditating on Psalm 23. What word or phrase stands out?
Tuesday, June 24 – Strength in Stillness
Scripture: “Those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength…” – Isaiah 40:31 Devotion: The quiet pursuit isn’t about doing less—it’s about being filled more. Strength comes in the stillness. Quiet Prompt: Journal about what waiting has taught you this month.
Wednesday, June 25 – Sabbath is Strength
Scripture: “There remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God…” – Hebrews 4:9-10 Devotion: Rest isn’t weakness—it’s worship. In your stopping, God is honored. In your stillness, you are strengthened.
Quiet Prompt: What’s one way you can make Sabbath a part of your weekly rhythm?
Thursday, June 26 – Set Your Mind
Scripture: “Set your minds on things above…” – Colossians 3:2
Devotion: The noise of the world is constant, but your heart can be anchored elsewhere. Let truth quiet your thoughts today.
Quiet Prompt: List 3 truths from Scripture that help quiet your mind.
Friday, June 27 – Grace in Weakness
Scripture: “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” – 2 Corinthians 12:9
Devotion: God’s grace is sufficient, even when you feel insufficient. Your quiet pursuit doesn’t have to be loud to be holy.
Quiet Prompt: What part of your weakness is God inviting you to surrender?
Saturday, June 28 – A Peace That Remains
Scripture: “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you.” – John 14:27
Devotion: Peace is not something we find—it’s someone we follow. In your quiet pursuit, His peace remains.
Quiet Prompt: Write out John 14:27 and keep it somewhere visible this week.
Sunday, June 29 – The Good Way
Scripture: “Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it…” – Jeremiah 6:16
Devotion: Sometimes quiet comes when we stop rushing and ask for direction. God’s ways are time-tested and trustworthy. Pause today, ask Him for His path, and step forward with peace.
Quiet Prompt: Where do you feel at a crossroads? Ask God to show you the “good way”—and be willing to walk in it.
Monday, June 30 – The Final Pursuit
Scripture: “One thing I ask from the Lord… that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life.” – Psalm 27:4
Devotion: As June comes to a close, return to the heart of the quiet pursuit: a longing to be with God. Not just during devotion time, but in your everyday, ordinary moments. Let this desire continue into the months ahead.
Quiet Prompt: Write your own prayer: What are you asking of God as you continue the quiet pursuit?
