🧭 New Series: Following Jesus in a Wild World

Helping Kids Discover Their True North

We’re so excited to launch a brand-new series with our kids this week called “Following Jesus in a Wild World.” Life can feel confusing—even for kids. Things change. Big emotions happen. Questions come up. But in the middle of it all, we want our children to know something unshakable: Jesus is our True North.

That means He’s our constant guide. He’s unchanging, trustworthy, and always pointing us in the right direction—even when the world around us feels wild.

Over the next 7 weeks, we’ll be learning through Bible stories, hands-on activities, and fun group time how we can trust Jesus when:

• We feel lost or unsure

• We have questions or doubts

• We feel alone, powerless, or discouraged

• We need help making good choices

  
  

Each week focuses on a simple truth and a key Bible verse to help kids build a strong foundation of faith that sticks with them for life. You’ll also receive take-home questions and prayer prompts to help spark meaningful conversations at home.

💬 This Week’s Focus: Who is Jesus?

We’ll kick things off by talking about how Jesus is our True North: our unchanging guide. Kids will explore what it means to build their lives on a strong foundation by listening to and following Jesus.

🏡 How You Can Be Involved:

• Ask your child what they learned during the lesson.

• Use the take-home prayer prompts to talk about thankfulness, caring for others, and growing with God.

• Join us in memorizing this week’s verse: “Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise.” —Matthew 7:24
