📅 Series: Suit Up! – The Armor of God

📖 Memory Verse: “Put on the full armor of God so that you can stand against the devil's schemes.” – Ephesians 6:11 (NIV)

🧠 Big Idea:

God gives us the Shoes of Peace to help us go and share His love.

🗣️ What We Learned

This week in Suit Up!, your child explored the third piece of God’s armor: the Shoes of Peace! Just like shoes help us walk, run, and stand, these special “shoes” help us move through life with kindness, calm, and the love of Jesus.

We talked about what it means to be a peacemaker: someone who forgives quickly, speaks kindly, and brings peace into their home, classroom, and friendships. Through games, stories, and crafts, kids practiced what it looks like to wear the Shoes of Peace every day.

💬 Talk About It at Home:

  • What do shoes help us do?

  • What do you think “peace” means?

  • Who do you know that needs to hear that God loves them?

  • How can we bring peace into our home this week?

🛡️ Daily Practice: “Peace Walk”

As your child puts on their shoes each morning, say together:

“I’m putting on my Shoes of Peace! I will go with kindness, calm, and God’s love.”

Then ask:

“Where can we bring peace today?”

🙏 Family Prayer

Dear God, Thank You for giving us the Shoes of Peace. Help us to bring calm where there is chaos, and kindness where there is hurt. Show us how to walk in Your love every day. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
