Don’t let anyone fool you. The good news about Jesus is a message that leads to genuine freedom. If you are person who leans toward legalism and rules, you’re veering away from it. If you tend to lean the other way toward liberalism, you’re getting off track. In the gospel, we are freed in Christ. Paul puts it this way: “It is for freedom that Christ sets you free” (Galatians 5:1). In Christ, we are rooted in God’s grace, not our own performance. We are led by God’s Spirit, and that leads us to freedom! ​
