Jim came to faith in Christ as a 17 year old in high school. He met his beautiful wife Lisa in college at church. Lisa talked him into transferring to Hope International University, where he graduated by bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Christian ministry. They served as missionaries in Chile, and at various Christian Churches in California. In 2019, Jim began doctoral studies at Grand CanyonUniversity, and hopes to complete his doctorate soon.

 

Jim is our newest staff member, arriving in August 2024 as Lead Pastor. Jim and
Lisa have been married for 40 years, and they have two adult children in Christian
ministry, Christina and Tyler, as well as their spouses. Best of all, they have four amazing grandkids: Cami, Cade, Lucy, and Jude!

 

Jim loves Mexican food, listening to talk radio and podcasts, reading books, eating popcorn, playing volleyball and pickleball, and watching sports!
